The ideas behind inoERP are to provide a dynamic pull-based system where demand/supply changes frequently and the traditional scheduling systems (such as MRP or Kanban) are incompetent at providing good inventory turnover.
What is Dynamic Drive System?
Dynamic Drive System is an advanced version of the Drive System that encompasses the best features of the traditional traction system and the MRP. The main disadvantage of the traditional kanban system is the fixed size of the kanban and the requirement of at least 2 containers for a complete operation. In the event of a sudden drop in demand, the Kanban system can result in additional inventory and the value of unused inventory can increase by up to 2 container sizes. In addition, if there is an unexpected increase in demand, it can cause the line to drop and the problem will be serious if the delivery times are not short.
The dynamic mining system overcomes this problem by recalculating the size of the cube (kanban size/lot size) before creating any supply (requisitions/purchase order/work order). Every time a new supply is created, the system automatically decides the best supply size based on the actual existing demand.
